About Us
The Glory Riders are comprised of men and women from various walks of life and faiths, that donate their time and talents to fulfill the vision of this ministry. In 1989, Joy West, Jan Lobban, and Peggy Patrick shared the vision of lifting up the name of Jesus in the rodeo arena. Ever since then, the Glory Riders have been privelaged to travel to many different and unique events proclaiming the name of Jesus. We have performed in church services, rodeos, parades, and prisons. We have expanded our ministry teams to include Califorina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tenessese, and Washington.

Joy West
Bob and I have lived in Denison, TX since we married in 1955. We have one son, three grandsons, and a great granddaughter. While we both were active in the rodeo arena prior to our marriage, from 1955 to 1990, however; we did not participate in any rodeo activities.
In 1989, God put it on my heart that He was sending me back to the rodeo arena. My first thought was, "God, I am fifty-two years old, have a husband, three grandchildren, a business, and conduct a weekly bible study in my home." After three days of God dealing with my heart, I told my husband what God was asking me to do. His reply was, "Joy, don't miss God!"
For the next six months we continued to pray about starting the ministry. Our first appearance was made in the spring of 1990, when we set pivots and had a banner heralding the name of Jesus. As I pause to reflect on the last 21 years, I am humbled by God's hand on my life and the life of my family.
By keeping my priorities in order: God, family, and ministry, I have had to oppurtunity to watch my son and grandchildren grow up with God at the forefront of their lives.
